What is the Vampire Facial®, and how does it work?

The Vampire Facial® is a non-invasive skin rejuvenation treatment that combines microneedling with Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy. Microneedling creates tiny micro-injuries in the skin, stimulating natural collagen production. PRP, derived from your own blood, is applied to enhance healing and deliver growth factors deep into the skin, improving texture, tone, and elasticity for a radiant, youthful appearance.

How long does it take to see results, and how long do they last?

Initial results, such as improved texture and a healthy glow, can be seen within a week. Full benefits, including increased collagen production and firmer skin, typically develop over 4–6 weeks and continue to improve for up to 3 months. Results can last 6–12 months or longer, depending on skin type, age, and lifestyle. Maintenance treatments are recommended to sustain the benefits.

Is there any downtime or side effects with the Vampire Facial®?

The Vampire Facial® has minimal downtime. You may experience slight redness, swelling, or sensitivity for 1–2 days, similar to a mild sunburn. These effects typically subside quickly. Most patients return to their normal activities within a day or two. Since the treatment uses your own PRP, the risk of side effects is very low.

What to Expect from the Vampire Facial®

You are isolating the magic from your own blood. First, the physician draws your blood from your arm (just like getting a blood test done).
Then, using a centrifuge, the physician isolates platelets from that blood (platelet-rich plasma or PRP).
Microneedling the skin's surface - tiny needles on the device wand move up and down at 8 thousand times per minute. A topical numbing cream is applied beforehand for your comfort.

Injecting the magic golden liquid back into your face using a numbing cream and very a small needle, the physician then injects your own growth factors back into your face in a very particular way to achieve the desired natural and young-appearing face.
What is the difference between the Vampire Facelift and the Vampire Facial? Both procedures use platelet rich plasma (PRP). However, the vampire facelift is a series of PRP injections and the vampire facial utilizes topical PRP and a microneedling device as a type of skin resurfacing technique.
