What is Young Plasma Exchange Therapy?

Young Plasma Exchange Therapy harnesses the power of young Fresh Frozen Plasma to rejuvenate and revitalize the body at a cellular level. This innovative approach, backed by extensive research and scientific studies, offers a promising avenue for promoting health, longevity, and graceful aging.

How Does it Work?

Through a meticulous process, Young Plasma Exchange Therapy involves the transfusion of young Fresh Frozen Plasma (yFFP) from qualified donors aged 18-25 years old, which contains a rich array of growth factors, proteins, and rejuvenating agents. These bioactive components have been shown to stimulate cellular regeneration, promote tissue repair, and combat age-related degeneration.

Plasma safety facts.

Plasma is regulated by the FDA under rules delineated in 21 CFR 640. Plasma has been in continuous use since the 1920s, and its general safety and efficacy has long been proven.

July 2000, due to significant advancements in testing, the United States FDA reported that our blood supply is the safest in the world and is now safer than it has ever been. That has been annually documented to be true for the twenty-two years since, an incredible record of success

Before Your Plasma Exchange:
- Drink fluids, especially non-carbonated ones.
-Avoid citrus and highly acidic fruits such as strawberries, blueberries, cranberries, pineapple etc. before and a day after the last infusion.
- Eat about an hour before your appointment.
- Wear comfortable clothes.
- Have someone to drive you home afterward.

During the procedure:
1. A needle or line is inserted into your arm.
2. Small amounts of blood are taken out.
3. The machine separates and replaces the plasma.
4. The treated blood is returned to your body.

This may take a few hours and is usually not painful. You might feel some minor discomforts like tingling or coldness.

After the Procedure:
You might feel tired. It’s good to hydrate and rest. The benefits of the procedure can vary, but many people feel relief from their symptoms for weeks or months.

Risks:
While plasma exchange is safe, some might experience:
- Low calcium or magnesium in the blood.
- Low body temperature.
- Low blood pressure.

Recovery:
Most people feel better within hours after the procedure. The duration of relief can vary based on the condition being treated.

Is It Like Dialysis?
Both dialysis and plasma exchange involve filtering the blood. However, while dialysis is for kidney problems, plasma exchange targets harmful substances in the plasma.

Final Thoughts:

The United States approved plasma for medical use in 1938. 20% of the 6,500 units of plasma safely used in the U.S. every day are collected from healthy young donors.

Plasma exchange has been used for a long time to manage symptoms of various conditions.
While it doesn’t cure them, it can greatly improve your quality of life. Always consult your healthcare provider for more details on the treatment.
